Default Aviation shears

I need to buy a new pair of reds and greens and wondered if there was a brand that was better for a guy who is getting arthritis in his hands. At least that's what my wife tells me it is, I tell her I'm not old enough for that yet! I've been using Midwest for several years, does anyone have recent experience with Klenk's? I always liked them but my wholesalers stopped carrying them. Thanks, John

I've always liked Craftsman offsets (Midwest) snips over the others.

I think I have tried them all over the years but started on Wiss and still with them. I guess its just what feels the best in your hand, because they all cut metal.

When is the last time you've seen them actually by Craftsman?

Midwest seemed to be more brittle. I used to snap them on 16 gauge, not that I ever like cutting it. Snapped two old sets of Midwest brand whereas the really ancient Craftsman branded ones held up the rest of the project. Maybe 100 linear feet. I don't think that was a fluke.
