Default School Projects

I had a High School Shop Teacher contact me regarding projects he could use in next years curriculum. They've already made the basic toolbox and screwdriver rack. He is looking for something fun that the students can take home and also develop an interest in sheet metal work. Any ideas or plans would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

There are some projects here on the forum that others made and might like to share. I also have a few things written that I can find the links to this weekend.

One idea might be a sheet metal bathtub scaled down to the size of a planter or magazine rack...the layout includes triangulation and tapered ends.

It's always cool to walk on the job with your own Hand Made tool box or tray. Let the student design it and build it. Make it Heavy enough to last 45 years at least. Then Hope that one day it doesn't get stolen. dupree
