copper grains and scratchs so easy..
i usualy(rarely do copper where i am at) hand grain it with a scotchbrite pad(coarse)
the 6x9" ones..
after you cut you flat patterns before you turn up the seams. hand grain them on the flat..
make sure like painting that you continue right off the material,kinda like spray painting .as to not creat a turn or pattern change neear the edge..
continue right off as if the material was like 6" longer or wider..
hope this helps a bit..
also for grain it is best to go just one way..if you reverse back and forth you arm tends to create an arch when you are not paying attention..
