Default Covering Counter Top With Sheet Metal

I would like to cover a 1.5" thick wood counter top with 26ga galvanized sheet metal. I want the metal to cover the top and sides. I'm wondering how I can finish the corners so they are "nice". I understand that I can fold the corners, but how do I make them as nice as possible? Something that won't cut someone if they were to run a finger across the area. An extra bonus would be something that is also "visually pleasing".

Any tricks, tips, or ideas?

Thanks,
John

That's interesting. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the tip!

When you cut out the corner leave a 1/2" tab on one of the edges and when you fold the sides down rivet the tab

I believe they are made by National Hardware....just search Ebay for cabinet corners and you will maybe find something there that you like.
