Default Exhaust Hood

Made a exhaust hood the other day and thought I would share some pictures. How is everyone doing lately ? I just keep plugging away in my shop never knowing what is going to be made next.

The hood was 49" wide x 54 tall so it had to have a seam down the middle. I used my button lock to form the lock on seam and then used a hand button tool so they would snap together.

Had to add angle to top and bottom to make it rigid again.

As always - nice work and thanks for sharing the photos. I like the camera on the shop.

To be honest, I'm not sure who stops by anymore. We obviously get some traffic (almost enough to pay for the server) but as always - it's been a struggle to get the industry to share and discuss there passion for the trade.

Thanks for stopping by - we'll keep the faith that others are sitting out there and almost ready to spill there guts on the love they have for the sheet metal work.

Thanks Bud, The security cameras are another hobby of mine They sure have came a long way since my first X10 Anaconda cam I started with. I use the ones in the shop all the time to document things I make and time involved....and security too.
