Well good luck then, I wrote mine back in 06 can't remember much about the test. The only one that stands out is they give you a plan view of a building's roof telling you how much of a tube of silicone will seal the flashing around the perimeter. And you have to figure how may tubes it takes. There was no answer 'E' depends on who is operating the silicone gun Biggest thing was fighting the clock, it takes the whole 3hrs. I walked out with 10 min left. there was some guys that still had 40 some questions to go, with no time left.

i thought the test was a gruelling math exam, id have to say id be disapointed if i seen that question on the exam, really...who gives a $#!t how much silicone it take to seal flashing, its just silicone, carry extra. i mean, shouldnt they be focusing on the more important things like hvac code and formulas considering a system failure could result in a family dying of carbon monoxide poisoning. what kind of journeymen are we becoming if they ask us stooopid $#!T like that on the test.
... but anyways, thanks for the heads up on that question, i would have hated to waste my time trying to figure that one out when there are clearly more important things we should be tested on.

get lots of sleep..eat breakfast..
and dont over think the questions..
sometimes the answer you chose is not the real right answer to the question..but it is the best one you have to choose from..

look at it this way..try to chose the best answer there is to chose from not neccessarily the right one..get it!

on a side not..bud any way to add spell check to the posts?

^GEZ too bad I hadn't found this forum a little sooner, might have had a few pointers, though it was quite a few moons ago,my memory is pretty good. I had the highest mark in Canada the year I wrote. Got a lot of little "Congrat's" certificates and such. Was at the Canadian and International Apprenticeship Contests too,,,,but that was way back when...
