Hi there,you can see the tackwelds and the final welding.
A long weld along the length!.
It's quite a difficult and complicated thing to make this revered shape.

Hi Dupree,
Thanks for your compliment!.
I guess I would call it art too if I didn't make it myself.
In the shop I work on the Fairing,there is a boatsbuilder that I admire for his knowledge of wood and what he knows about forming shapes and methods and techniques.
It doesn't matter for him if it's about boats,cars or aircraft.
He just looks at the shapes.
I call his work art too.
So understand how you see it.
I would like to show a few pictures of a little boat he makes.
It doesn't have anything to do with sheet metal,but perhaps you enjoy it to looking at it.
You can also see,that there is a comparison in method of building up a thing,starting from a wooden former.

Default first testfit of the wingroot fairing

Hi,yesterday I have fit the panels on the fuselage to check te shape and to scribe of the front panel .


Also the Mg panels that I have made before is in place now.
