Default How to bend a varying conical Shape?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to bend a shape with different radius as shown in the image. And I am doing it manually i.e. there is no press or something. The problem is that its easy to make a conical shape however when the cuts are at different locations (see image) its very hard to make a same bend everytime.

If you see the flatten piece it should start and exit the roller at the same to to get a perfect circle. But I am not sure how to do this as I am doing it manually by hand when its rolling so both top and bottom cuts start and exits at the same time. which gives all the pieces different shape and not circle.

Please if anyone can guide me it will help me a lot as it is for production and I am not able to afford big machines at the moment, so any kind of help will be appreciated.

Sorry for my bad English if you need further information please let me know.

Kind Regards.

It looks like you're trying to form a frustrum of a cone. The ends will be fastened?
In any event, the easiest way to do this by hand is on a blowhorn stake. Start from the middle and slowly bend each side till it gets close. Finish on a round stake or pipe.
I never had success bending these forms on a slip roll.
I am an 18thC tinner making and fixing period lighting so most of my work is by hand.
Hope this helps
