Great Job!

I purchased a bar folder so I could get into the craft side of the trade, but never seem to have enough time to get going .....

Bud, I got a free Niagra#4 for free. The folding leaf is cracked all the way through. I have a friend that thought he could weld it, ( some kind of cast then machined metal didn't weld so great) . Some roofer thought it would be cool to try and smash a 5/8"bolt in the thing. Do you think it's worth trying to find a new leaf or have somone else try and weld it. I have the Artsy thing calling me to thanks to bordntn ( or what ever his name is). I've got my eye on a stomp shear sitting in the yard hardly used. Neilson i think is the name. When i catch the boss at the right time i'll ask him for it. nothing ventured nothing gained. dupree

It's hard to say it's repairable or not? Almost anyhting is, just a matter of how much it's worth to you. Free is a good thing

My stomp shear was necessary for me to even think about it - my hands have been beat up to much over the years with hammering, hammer drills wreckless demo's, extream cold temps the many oh-ah test on boilers and what ever else the trade dished out to me over the years. (and that's just my hands)
