Yeah, I have the aviation style snips like the Midwest (Craftsman, mine are Kleins) as well as the aluminium Malco Andy snips but they hardly cut through turn vane rails, which is what I use them for mostly. I need the big long old fashioned ones.

I actually purchsed a pair of wiss W5 bull snips from ebay for about 10.00. I took my chance, and it paid off, they're the best snips I have..use these and you won't want the aluminium ones any longer

Do a search on Wiss W5 and you'll have a place to start...

Thank you so much Bud. Those Wiss W5 snips are EXACTLY what I am after. The aluminium Malco Andy snips aren't worth much where I work, all the guys esp. the foreman, laugh at me when I bust them Andy's out. The foreman says that they're actually great for residential, lighter guage cutting. Anyway, thanks for the help dude, this site is paying off for me already, I'm stoked.
