Default 3d to 2d unfold software for beginners

I was wondering if there is an easy to learn sheet metal software which would enable me to design sheet metal parts as an 3d objects and unfold them .
I saw demo of solid works ,but maybe there is something that is easier to learn .

Are you talking about something like a CAD to CAM program? I know when I draw duct in my 3D program I can send it to the CAM program and view it in the flat.
