lyons, how do you burry that curved seam so close to the edge? Are there "tucks" or pockets on the underclock side? or is it a shrink?

The vertical pieces get a .25" flange and the horizontal pieces get a + .25" hem. Any larger hem than .25" causes a buckle when folding over.
Next time I make one I'll take better pictures.

When cutting the sides you need to make sure it's smooth, any burrs will split where the radius gets tight when you hammer over the flange. The sides are cut to match the slope of the roof and the faces (horizontal pieces) are bent over a 2" pipe to match the radius.

No stretching or shrinking necessary, just a hammer, smooth jaw offset left and right snips and a pair of seaming pliers.
